Active Listening for Ministry and Care

This course explores the ministry of Active Listening as a tool for care, connection, and transformation. Through five sessions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how listening reflects Christ’s love, fosters healing, and builds trust within relationships. The course emphasizes practical skills, biblical foundations, and ministry applications, equipping learners to serve with compassion and discernment. Course Objectives and Goals By the end of this course, participants will: Understand the biblical foundation and importance of active listening. Recognize barriers that hinder effective listening. Practice core skills of active listening, such as reflection, empathy, and patience. Apply active listening in ministry, counseling, and everyday relationships. Model Christlike listening that promotes healing, encouragement, and growth. Mini-Lesson: The foundation and purpose for each lesson is to offer a simple, clear, and concise explanation of the content covered, while thoroughly discussing the significant aspects and most pertinent details of each topic.
